OMRAN Group Launches ‘Layali Al Irfan Festival’ to Celebrate the Spirit of Ramadan
Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) officially inaugurated ‘Layali Al Irfan Festival’ at the Boulevard of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), offering a complete Ramadan experience for families and friends in an exciting atmosphere that reflects the spirit of connection. The festival features cultural experiences, artistic performances, entertainment activities, and a market supporting entrepreneurs.
This event underscores the Group’s commitment to delivering exceptional tourism experiences that captivate visitors while actively supporting initiatives that enrich local content and empower entrepreneurs and SMEs. As part of the accompanying programs of Layali Al Irfan, managed by OCEC, the event will take place from March 2 to March 29, 2025, offering an immersive and culturally enriching Ramadan experience. Visitors can look forward to an atmosphere infused with warmth, hospitality, and a strong sense of community, making it a truly memorable celebration of the holy month.
Designed to revive the authentic atmosphere of Ramadan, ‘Layali Al Irfan Festival’ presents live cultural and artistic performances, and an eclectic selection of food outlets blending local flavors with international influences. The event also features family-friendly entertainment, exciting prize draws, a vibrant bazaar, a dedicated children’s play area, a sports zone, an interactive gaming section, and live performances.

As part of OMRAN Group’s commitment to developing unique tourism experiences across its various destinations, ‘Layali Al Irfan’ also reinforces efforts to support and enhance local content. The event features 55 dedicated outlets for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and local entrepreneurs, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their products and services. To maximize participation and value creation, vendors will rotate on a weekly basis, ensuring a dynamic marketplace and broader exposure for a larger number of businesses.
The ‘Layali Al Irfan Festival’ Festival is part of the ‘Layali Al Irfan’ campaign, transforming the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre into a vibrant destination for Ramadan 2025. Before heading to the festival, visitors will be able to enjoy an outdoor iftar in the serene Karam Tent, nestled within the venue’s Exhibition Garden and surrounded by nature, with prices starting at 10 OMR. The event is open to the public free of charge throughout the holy month of Ramadan, welcoming visitors daily from 8:00 PM to 12 midnight. Layali Al Irfan iftars will be available from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm daily, from 2nd until 22nd March 2025 – bookings required.
