OMRAN Group Conducted Crisis Management and Simulation Workshop

To fortify its capabilities and elevate preparedness, OMRAN Group recently conducted a comprehensive crisis management and simulation workshop .The event garnered participation from several high-ranking officials within the Group and its subsidiaries, with the distinguished presence of the Group CEO.

The primary objective of this workshop was to enhance readiness and response capabilities for the tourism sector in the face of potential crises. It outlined a holistic framework of actions to be undertaken by businesses and destinations in the tourism industry to ensure crisis preparedness. The workshop provided invaluable insights, drawing from global best practices meticulously tailored for the tourism sector, encompassing crisis mitigation, readiness, response, and recovery.

The workshop comprised multiple sessions, delving into various facets of crisis management within the tourism sector. These sessions emphasized the importance of situational awareness, effective information management, and the strategic roles and objectives essential for effective decision-making. Additionally, a simulation exercise was conducted to facilitate strategic communication in support of the decision-making process and collaboration with external agencies during crisis response.
