Perched at an altitude of 2,000 metres above sea level and just a two-hour drive from Muscat, Alila Jabal Akhdar resort provides access to one of Oman’s most breathtaking and untapped areas. It is run by boutique Asian hotelier, Alila Hotels & Resorts. Overlooking a dramatic gorge and with views of the Al Hajar Mountains, Alila Jabal Akhdar is perfectly positioned to explore the region’s renowned rugged landscapes; a haven for adventure travellers, nature lovers and those seeking an escape from the desert heat.
In its commitment to fostering local development, OMRAN partnered with Dawood Contracting LLC, a local company, for its first project in the hospitality sector. Embracing stringent practices, the project aimed to preserve the natural environment and wildlife of Al Jabal Al Akhdar while developing the site, safeguarding the region's remarkable natural beauty.
