The Ras Al inz Turtle Reserve is globally renowned as one of the most significant nesting sites for turtles. Located within Ras Al hadd, a picturesque fishing village on the eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Ras A Jinz Beach attracts visitors from around the world to witness the nesting rituals of endangered green turtles, Cheloniamydas. Inis stretch of coastline along the Indian Ocean is vital for the nesting activities of these magnificent sea turtles. Established by Royal Decree in 1996, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve is home to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Centre, founded in 2008. The centre is dedicated to conserving this rare natural phenomenon-the awe inspiring nesting rituals of these giant sea turtles-through its premier environmental tourism Every evening, the centre conducts guided tours for visitors to observe the remarkable nesting process firsthand With a steadfast commitment to conservation. the centre strictly adheres to guidelines aimed at preserving these maiestic turtles.
