In line with the directives of the Oman Investment Authority, OMRAN Group is leading the redevelopment of the Port Sultan Qaboos Waterfront into a world class mixed-use destination. This strategic national project reflects OMRAN Group’s mandate to create distinctive places and experiences that support economic diversification and advance the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and the National Tourism Strategy.
The redevelopment will preserve the historic and architectural character of the port while introducing new tourism, cultural, leisure, and lifestyle components that complement the needs of the surrounding community. The project prioritises added value creation, sustainable land use, and alignment with national investment considerations.
As a landmark cultural and tourism destination, Port Sultan Qaboos Waterfront will contribute to job creation, enhance local economic activity, and strengthen the Sultanate of Oman’s positioning as a unique global destination for both residents and visitors.
